DueBarn works out due dates, windows and reminders from published averages (university extension services, breed associations and veterinary references — each calculator page lists its sources). Every animal is different: a due date is an estimate, and the window around it is where most births fall, not a promise.

Nothing here is veterinary advice. Your vet’s plan always wins. If an animal is in trouble, overdue or unwell, call your vet.

The calculators are free to use. You are responsible for the dates you enter and for the care of your animals.

Your records live on your phone. Keep your phone backed up (iCloud does this for you) — if the phone is lost without a backup, we cannot restore them, because we never had them.

If you buy DueBarn Pro in the iPhone app, Apple takes the payment and Apple’s standard licence applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. A subscription renews until you cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

We work hard to make every number right and test every calculation against the published references. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on an estimate instead of your vet.
